If you are married and will be
between the ages of 21 and 56 as of
July 1, 2011,
applications are now being accepted
for the title of 2011 “Mrs. Waller
County”.
Mrs. Waller County will have the
honor of representing her area at
the Mrs. Texas International Pageant
to be held
at the Lila Cockrell Theatre in San
Antonio, Texas, March 11 – 13,
2011.
The woman selected at “Mrs. Waller
County” will become an ambassador
from the Waller County area and
receive
and official title and sash.
Representing Waller County at the
2010 Mrs. Texas Pageant was Billie
Jo Ryan of Waller, Texas.
The woman crowned Mrs. Texas will
receive a prize package valued at
over $15,000 and the opportunity to
represent
Texas at the 2011 Mrs. International
Pageant in Chicago.
The American Heart Association is
the official charity of the Mrs.
Texas International Pageant.
In
2008,
the International Pageants joined
the American Heart Association’s Go
Red For Women movement and
each
state titleholder
will champion heart disease as a
national platform in a addition to
promoting their own platform
throughout the year.
There is no talent or swimsuit
competition and no experience
necessary.

For example, the regular box which
feeds a family of 4 for about one
week or an individual for about one
month is now only $29. An "After
school" box, fruit and veggie box, a
variety of meat boxes and a
GLUTEN-FREE box are also available,
as well as convenience boxes which
contain 10 cooked, frozen, ready to
heat and serve meals.

QUALIFICATION.
On-Site orders must be placed
on the Wednesday of the week prior
to pick up/distribution.

This project teaches about the
selection and care of a dog; the
maintenance, the
responsibilities of having a dog;
the importance of keeping an
accurate records; and the
importance of citizenship,
sportsmanship and cooperation.

working with children and
dogs to provide assistance to the
4-H and Youth dog project.

The Rock Island 4-H Club will be

Little Mister & Miss Contest.
Contestants must be between the ages

There will be a mandatory
meeting for all contestants on
Wednesday, September 8th
at the Waller County Fairgrounds at
6:00 p.m. in the Barbara Carpenter

Creative Living Bldg.)
This meeting is to go over the rules
and take a group picture.
No contestants will be allowed to
enter this contest after September 8th.
The actual contest will be held
during the 2010 Waller County Fair.
